Registered Representatives

OMNI employs over 70 Registered Representatives in over 45 offices across the country. Many of them have prior and/or current experience as attorneys, CPAs, real estate brokers, and investment advisors and are all registered to sell securities. They are experienced in the business and regulatory aspects of 1031 exchanges. Their initial obligation is to evaluate for each client the suitability of the investment options that OMNI may offer. Although our Registered Representatives may assist clients in obtaining relevant investment information related to the tax-deferred exchange so they can make an informed and educated decision, we do not provide tax, accounting or legal advice to our clients, and encourage our clients to seek advice from independent advisors in each of these areas.

Due Diligence Analysts

OMNI also employs a team of due diligence analysts, and their support staff, who evaluate the sponsors with whom we work and their offerings. During the due diligence process, properties are generally subjected to a review on several levels, including appraisals, feasibility studies, load recovery analyses, return on investment analyses, and environmental reports. The team also performs on-site physical reviews of many properties. Upon completion of this review process, the property is presented to OMNI's Investment Committee. In 2007, OMNI reviewed over 265 TIC offerings, 68% of which were approved for future presentation to clients.
